Our Fall/Winter 2010 photo shoot took place this month with help from lots of people! The new collection includes everything from chunky silver and black chains to precious pearls. As well, we have expanded our
scarves collection from talented up and coming designer Adi Bakshi and our fabulously affordable hair band collection.
It was a long and arduous day that began very early, but was well worth the results. I want to start off by giving a shout out to all of the
wonderful people who took part on our shoot and made it what it was. Photographer; Max Portughes (pixbymax.com), stylist; Jen Blitzer (http://blackandwhiteitsnot.blogspot.com), make-up; Alex Parisotto, and our gorgeous model Morgan.
Now, down to the fun stuff. We started off the shoot with a subtle every day look for women of any age. My favorite look was our last outfit. A to die for red rose jacket from the H&Ms Garden Collection with nothing underneath and multiple strands of ivory pearls around her neck. As Haley Greenberg (http://twitter.com/haleygreenberg), a future contributor and guest blogger says about the final look ‘Love it! Edgy meets classic’.
With only 4 photo shoots under our belt we have learnt what works and what does not. Though, we definitely still have a lot to learn and more room to grow. What we do know, is that a good vibe at the photo shoot between all people is essential. We really could not have asked for a better group of people to have spent the day with.
